Current pathway
Community is the distinct volunteer entry. It displays fictional activities and an operationally unavailable network; no real volunteer is contacted or assigned.
Proposed sequence
- Interest is expressed: Explore a fictional activity. Owner: Volunteer. Required: No live submission.
- Screening is reviewed: Validate suitability and required checks. Owner: CHI coordinator. Required: Approved screening.
- Training is completed: Require safeguarding and role training. Owner: Training lead. Required: Approved curriculum.
- Scope is approved: Verify current participant eligibility. Owner: CHI authority. Required: Trust review.
- Assignment is supervised: Only approved tasks are assigned. Owner: Volunteer coordinator. Required: Assignment and supervisor.
- Attendance is recorded: Separate claimed time from evidence. Owner: Supervisor. Required: Approved evidence policy.
- Service is verified: Confirm hours and appropriate delivery. Owner: Verifier. Required: Independent verification.
- My Impact is updated: Only verified hours count as verified service. Owner: Reporting steward. Required: Verification and recognition consent.
Fictional activity
A fictional volunteer offers five minutes of expertise. Practice accepts that amount but creates no verified hours or approved youth contact.
What volunteers receive
Only an approved, supervised task’s necessary information—not private youth records, journals or a contact directory. Donating or joining a circle never bypasses screening.
Unavailable assignments
Do not use old network routes or forms to bypass paused workflows. Screening, training, current eligibility and assignment must all be reviewed independently.
Operational requirements
Approved policies, scoped authorization, supervision, attendance evidence, safeguarding and verified My Impact writeback are not activated by this guide.
